Warehouse Assistant

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality, immediately reporting any discrepancies.
• Efficiently organize and store inventory using designated systems, ensuring easy access and accurate tracking.
• Utilize warehouse management software for real-time inventory updates, maintaining precise records of stock levels.
• Prepare and pack outgoing shipments, ensuring that all items are securely packaged and labeled correctly.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory audits, identifying and correcting any stock variances proactively.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring safe and effective handling of materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow, sharing insights on process improvements and efficiencies.
• Support the loading and unloading of goods in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of warehouse procedures and technology.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or warehousing preferred.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer skills for data entry and tracking.
• Strong attention to detail to meticulously check inventory and packaging for accuracy.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery, with relevant certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
