Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Assistant to join our growing logistics team in Dandenong South. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This role suits someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily warehouse operations including goods receiving, sorting, picking, inspection, and packing to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
• Check and update inventory information in ERP and PDA systems, ensuring accuracy of data.
• Support transfer orders, direct delivery orders, and direct procurement processes.
• Conduct re-inspection, packaging, labeling, and documentation for outbound orders.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (license preferred) for loading/unloading.
• Process returns and exchanges, review and record any claims for shortages or damages.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow 6S management standards.
• Support regular stocktakes and assist with ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.

About you

• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Familiar with ERP or PDA systems and basic PC operation.
• Ability to identify and handle different order types accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• A team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, hardworking, and willing to learn under supervision.
• Forklift license (preferred but not mandatory).
