Warehouse Assistant

About the role

GDE Distribution is looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Riverwood. This is a permanent part-time, hands-on role working four days per week, Monday to Thursday, supporting the day-to-day operation of our Sydney warehouse. The role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and is comfortable working as part of a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and processing incoming stock
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
• Accurately entering and maintaining information in the warehouse system
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management
• Manual handling, including lifting items weighing approximately 15–25kg
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Assisting with other warehouse duties as required

About you

• Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not essential
• Basic computer skills and confidence with data entry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling requirements
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team
• Good communication skills
• Forklift licence advantageous, but not essential
• Valid Australian working rights
