Warehouse Assistant

About the role

Assist Team Leader and Supervisor in daily warehouse activities, performing packing, receiving, storing, and distributing activities for all products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform packing, receiving, storing, distributing activities for all products
• Check incoming or outgoing items by counting, measuring, weighing, issuing and requisitioning
• Keep related clerical records, gather, sort packed items for shipment, manually address and affix consignment notes to packages, unpack and store incoming shipments
• Identify goods and reject damaged items, record shortages and correspond with QC department before releasing products from warehouse to logistics
• Operate hand truck or forklift to move and receive products to storage area
• Receive damaged or defective goods returns based on SOP
• Manage stock control, take measurements and record on stock list
• Clean and maintain work area
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations and ensure safe work environment
• Implement and participate actively in 5S activities for the Department and Organization

About you

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in any field or equivalent
• Able to read and write basic language
• Competence in forklift driving skills
• Basic computer knowledge will be an advantage
