Warehouse Assistant

Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving and Unpacking

• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor
• Receive, double check, and document each returned item/equipment from the crew

2. Stocking and Organizing

• Return all items/equipment from the unloading bay to their proper location in the warehouse racks
• Arrange all equipment in their designated locations
• Return all equipment from the unloading bay to the warehouse

3. Facility Tool and Maintenance

• Clean and test all items/equipment before and after use
• Conduct minor and aesthetic repairs on equipment
• Check and report defective equipment to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Replace damaged or worn out client logos on the equipment
• Recharge drained or used batteries
• Endorse defective equipment to the Asset Manager
• Cleans and checks equipment before releasing from warehouse and before returning to its storage location
• Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse, receiving and dispatching units, and parking area
• Familiarize self with the names and usage of all equipment in the warehouse
• Report to Warehouse Supervisor all missing and unaccounted item from projects
• Report to Warehouse Supervisor all defective and non-functioning material handling equipment
• Take part in minor facility repair and improvement

4. Shipping

• Prepare all client requested items or equipment from the warehouse to the loading bay
• Double check, document, and turn over each requested item/equipment to the crew

5. Inventory

• Assist the asset manager in conducting the annual inventory

6. Others as Assigned

Perform other functions, duties, and responsibilities analogous, pertinent, or related to and/or implied from the preceding enumeration of duties and responsibilities
