Warehouse Assistant

About the role

Join our dynamic Warehousing and Distribution team at Wallace International as a Warehouse Assistant. This full-time role is based in our modern facility in Kewdale, Western Australia. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our busy warehouse, supporting our distribution network and helping to deliver exceptional service to our valued customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality
• Efficiently pick, pack and dispatch outgoing customer orders
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory management
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and organised at all times
• Support the wider warehouse team with ad-hoc tasks as required

About you

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment however not essential as new beginners into the Industry welcomed

• Physically active individuals with capabilities for unpacking of containers

• Forklift license and confidence operating warehouse equipment preferred however willing to offer training and certification

• HR (Heavy Rigid) truck license a bonus however not mandatory

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work safely

• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
