Job Purpose

To support the day-to-day warehouse operations by receiving, storing, arranging, picking, loading, and dispatching building materials while maintaining proper stock records and ensuring a safe and organized warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming building materials against delivery notes, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Assist in unloading, loading, stacking, and arranging materials in the warehouse.
• Ensure proper storage of materials according to type, size, quantity, and handling requirements.
• Pick and prepare materials as per sales orders and delivery instructions.
• Check quantities and material condition before dispatch.
• Support stock counting and physical inventory checks.
• Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure the warehouse is clean and organized.
• Assist in identifying and segregating damaged or returned materials.
• Follow FIFO and other company inventory procedures where applicable.
• Support loading of materials into delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Handle warehouse tools and equipment responsibly.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
