WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

About the role

Assist in daily warehouse operations, including receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing and issuing goods.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods and verify quantity, item description and condition against delivery documents
• Arrange and store goods properly according to warehouse procedures
• Perform picking and packing of goods according to orders and delivery schedules
• Assist with loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
• Ensure accurate stock movement and assist in maintaining inventory records
• Conduct stock counting and assist with regular stock take and inventory reconciliation
• Ensure all goods are properly labelled and stored in the correct location
• Maintain cleanliness, tidiness and safety of the warehouse
• Report damaged, missing or incorrect goods to the Warehouse Supervisor/Executive
• Assist with preparation of Delivery Orders, stock records and other warehouse documents

About you

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Management or related field
• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage, but fresh candidates are encouraged to apply
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling and lifting of goods
• Responsible, hardworking and punctual
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage
• Willing to work in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan
