Warehouse Assistant

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to manage and support our day-to-day warehouse operations. You will play a vital role in keeping our rental inventory organized, fully functional, and ready for dispatch.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in doing a quality job, thrives in an organized environment, and ensures our drivers are set up for success every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Maintenance & Inventory Control: Organize and maintain the warehouse layout, manage stock levels, and perform regular inventory checks.
• Turnaround & Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and inspect all returned stock to ensure items meet our high quality standards.
• Repair & Maintenance: Perform basic repairs and maintenance on returned equipment and household/event items to keep stock in top condition.
• Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, inspect, pack, and stage orders so they are ready for driver collection and delivery.
• Reporting: Flag any damaged items, missing stock, or facility maintenance issues directly to the operations team.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or stock control environment
• Strong practical skills for inspecting, cleaning, and carrying out basic repairs on stock
• High attention to detail with an organized approach to picking, packing, and stock control
• Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and moving equipment safely
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well independently as well as part of an operations team

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
