Warehouse Assistant

About the role

Warehouse Store Person role involving packing orders for shipping, managing containers, making deliveries, maintaining stock, and performing general warehouse duties to ensure an efficient, clean and safe warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pack orders for shipping as required
• De van containers as required
• Deliver or pick up goods as may be required from time to time
• Collect yarn from Store or take goods to as required
• Ensure that rubbish bins in factory are emptied on regular basis and sort into recycling container as appropriate
• Put recycling bin and waste bin out as required
• Maintain correct stock on allocated pallets in an orderly and accurate manner
• Unload pallets from the factory and restock shelves and pallets
• Assist other members of staff to maintain an efficient clean and safe warehouse at all times
• Ensure that health and safety procedures are followed and maintained
• Keep fork hoist and van clean and tidy
