Warehouse Assistant Flooring Industry

Are you physically fit, reliable, and looking for a hands-on role with a great local team?
We're looking for a hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join a busy flooring company in the Queenstown Lakes area. This is a varied role where you'll be kept active, working across the warehouse as well as getting out and about delivering flooring products to sites.
You don't necessarily need flooring experience. What's more important is a great attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently and manage your day well.
 
What you'll be doing:

• Cutting and preparing carpet and flooring products ready for installation
• Loading and unloading carpet, flooring and other materials
• Delivering flooring products safely to residential and commercial sites
• Keeping the warehouse tidy, organised and running efficiently
• Checking orders and ensuring the correct products are ready for delivery
• Managing your workload and prioritising jobs throughout the day
• Working independently while also supporting the wider team when needed
• Following safe manual-handling and workplace procedures

What we're looking for:

• Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting and manual work
• Reliable, punctual and organised
• Excellent time-management skills
• Able to work autonomously without needing constant supervision
• A practical, hands-on approach to work
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change
• Full driver's licence and confidence driving around the Queenstown Lakes area
• Previous warehouse, flooring, construction or delivery experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential
