Warehouse Assistant Manager

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage, handling, and dispatch of materials.
2. Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
3. Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
4. Coordinate with production and procurement teams for smooth material flow.
5. Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
6. Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse staff to enhance performance and skills.
7. Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions for discrepancies.
8. Manage warehouse space, racking, and equipment to maximize efficiency.
9. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations and drive improvement initiatives.
10. Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials in line with GMP and safety regulations.
11. Assist in planning and execution of logistics for inbound and outbound shipments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
2. Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
3. Warehouse Executive: 2–4 years of relevant experience
4. Assistant Manager/ Manager: 4–6 years with leadership responsibilities
5. Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
6. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Knowledge of safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
9. Adaptability and a commitment to continuous improvement.
10. Willing to relocate to Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.
