WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGER

About the Role: Assistant Warehouse Manager

Xianfeng International (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced and responsible Assistant Warehouse Manager to support our warehousing and distribution operations in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

This is a full-time position responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving and dispatching goods, manpower coordination, warehouse administration, and ensuring efficient and accurate warehouse processes.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring that all activities comply with company procedures and safety requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily warehouse operations
• Support the management of receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records through regular stock counting, verification, and reconciliation
• Coordinate and supervise warehouse staff to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and on time
• Assist in allocating manpower and monitoring staff performance, attendance, and productivity
• Ensure proper receiving and inspection of incoming materials and accurate documentation
• Monitor outgoing goods and ensure orders are prepared and dispatched accurately and according to schedule
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and operational issues
• Maintain accurate warehouse records, reports, and documentation
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports as required by management
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth material flow
• Assist in improving warehouse processes, storage systems, and operational efficiency
• Ensure proper housekeeping, organisation, and cleanliness of the warehouse
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Assist in monitoring the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment
• Take responsibility for warehouse operations in the absence of the Warehouse Manager
• Perform other duties and assignments as instructed by management

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role will be an advantage
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, stock management, and logistics processes
• Experience in supervising and coordinating warehouse staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience using ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems is an advantage
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory and operational records
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with different departments
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English & Bahasa
• Chinese language skills will be an added advantage
