Warehouse Assistant / Storekeeper

About the role

To assist supervisor in receiving, transferring, kitting, delivery, storage, recording, system update, inventory update for a smooth warehouse operation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload goods from trucks, shelves, and pallets as required
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition
• Accurately record inventory transactions in warehouse systems and stockcards
• Monitor and update inventory levels to ensure data accuracy
• Assist in regular stock counts and inventory audits
• Receive incoming goods and verify quantity and quality against delivery orders
• Prepare and issue items for internal use or delivery
• Organize and store items in designated locations, following proper storage procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse

About you

• Minimum SPM education
• Minimum 3 to 5 years work experience
• Able to operate computer for Microsoft Excel / Word / Outlook
• Experience in using SAP system will be an advantage
• Forklift handling license / Warehouse Functions / 5S
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Able to work as a good team player
• Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English (advantage)
