Warehouse Assistant/Driver

About the Role

This is a varied role combining warehouse operations with local deliveries throughout the Sydney metropolitan area. You will be responsible for picking and packing orders, managing stock, loading vehicles, and completing customer deliveries. The role requires someone who is organised, physically fit, customer-focused, and enjoys being part of a team.

As customer deliveries are a key part of this position, you must be available to work until 6:00pm each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Complete local Sydney deliveries in company vehicles.
• Ensure deliveries are made accurately and on time.
• Conduct stock replenishment and inventory control activities.
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation.
• Use warehouse management and inventory systems.
• Follow food safety, quality and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Work closely with production, warehouse and customer service teams.

Skills & Experience

• Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential).
• Forklift Licence (preferred).
• Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, delivery driving, or stores.
• Safe driving record and strong understanding of Sydney metropolitan areas.
• Good computer skills and experience using inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
