  • Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment or safety concerns.
  • Follow required safety procedures, including forklift protocols and personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with general warehouse upkeep.
  • Replenish stock and support other warehouse functions as needed.
  • Cross-train in different areas of the warehouse to support daily operations.

Skills & Qualifications

Required
  • Ability to complete BPI's in-house forklift training and certification.
  • Ability to learn and use warehouse scanning systems for inventory tracking and shipment loading.
  • Commitment to following PPE requirements, forklift protocols, and other warehouse safety procedures.

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
  • Dependability and willingness to work the scheduled Monday-through-Friday second shift.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support changing warehouse needs.
Preferred
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving environment.
  • Experience operating a forklift or other material-handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with order picking, staging, loading, stock replenishment, or inventory counts.
  • Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse inventory systems.
  • Experience securing freight with banding, plastic wrap, or similar materials.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to work at a steady pace and frequently lift 30–40 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 70 pounds.
