Warehouse Associate

The primary purpose of this role is to serve as a Warehouse Associate at Evolved Lighting Solutions for a variety of customers in Ohio and Midwest. As a Warehouse Associate, primary functions such as receiving, tracking inventory, and warehouse organization are paramount in this role.

Job Duties:

• Conducts accurate and timely inventory audits for product and electrical materials.
• Tracking parts and material levels and communicating needs to Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager.
• Assists in the development and maintains a plan of action for product tracking and part storage – shelving, organization, where things are placed.
• Carries out all vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures
• Maintains vehicle readiness – Making sure maintenance performed, cleaned and stocked. Ready for install teams.
• Accepts deliveries and checks them in using established Evolved procedures
• Maintains a clean and organized warehouse – Making sure trash is taken out, floors are clear and clean, and shelves are organized
• Maintains and enforces an Evolved cleaning schedule for restrooms and common areas (break room, bullpen, etc)
• Verify and maintain established end of shift clean up procedures. (Lamp, cardboard, metal recycling, ladder return, vehicle cleanliness, etc) and notifies manager if duties are not accurately being conducted.

• Perform other tasks as needed.
• Makes deliveries and pick ups
• Schedule and maintain relationships with third party service contractors such as Waste Management, Recycling and Maintenance
• Assigning and establishing space for job site bill of materials – in layman’s terms find a spot to put materials for jobs ready to launch
• Tracking and organize product returns and defectives
• Notify site foreman and project managers of product deliveries.
• Outside grounds maintenance – trash upkeep, parking lots are neat and organized, which includes the gated area.
• Maintaining recycling levels and vehicles inside the gated area
• Check and notify of any building maintenance requirements or issues.
• Ensures that all man doors, garage doors, and gates are shut and locked at end of shift.
• Turning in a weekly checklist of duties and responsibilities
