Warehouse Associate

US Apparel is currently seeking a Forklift operator/warehouse associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in the company's success and customer satisfaction by ensuring customers receive their orders correctly and well-packaged to prevent damage. This position is responsible for emptying containers, Palletizing, and filling Bins on time, while meeting all productivity and accuracy standards.

Major Responsibilities

• work with the team to empty the container
• Make pallets and stack on the racks
• Fill empty bins with merchandise
• Shrink wrap pallets and make them ready for delivery
• Occasionally drive a box truck for pickup and delivery
• Safely operate all warehouse equipment
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Follow directions of leadership
• Perform cleaning activities as required
• Uses brooms, mops, and other cleaning materials (including solvents and soaps) to clean the work area
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Physical Demands:

In performing the job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near and far vision, and hearing are required to operate warehouse machinery.

• Previous warehouse experience is an asset
