Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other equipment to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with precision using order picker tools, inventory management software, and ERP systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
• Organize stock in designated areas, ensuring proper stocking techniques and adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate shipping logistics by preparing shipping documents, verifying trade compliance, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations when applicable.
• Assist with cycle counts and regular inventory audits to uphold stock accuracy and support efficient warehouse distribution.
• Support warehouse operations by loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts or pallet jacks safely, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and communicating effectively with team members.

Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), or MRP systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely; certification is a plus.
• Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry and reporting purposes.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Ability to lift heavy items regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing procedures, trade compliance standards, and international trade regulations is advantageous.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
