Position Summary

TruRight is looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking Warehouse Associate to help manage our plumbing and HVAC inventory and keep our field teams supplied with the materials they need.

This position will be responsible for receiving, organizing, stocking, pulling, and tracking materials throughout the warehouse. The Warehouse Associate will work closely with project managers, purchasing, warehouse leadership, and field crews to make sure materials are accurate, organized, and ready when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming plumbing and HVAC materials.
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Stock and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pull and stage materials for jobs based on material and pull sheets.
  • Help load and unload company trucks and trailers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies.
  • Assist with weekly inventory counts and restocking.
  • Keep plumbing and HVAC fittings, equipment, tools, and materials clearly labeled and organized.
  • Help maintain inventory on company trucks and job trailers.
  • Return unused job materials to the proper inventory location.
  • Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
  • Assist with warehouse transfers and material deliveries as needed.
  • Use company inventory software to receive, transfer, issue, and track materials.
  • Keep the warehouse, yard, trucks, and trailers clean and organized.
  • Communicate material shortages or inventory problems to management.
  • Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications

  • Dependable and able to show up to work on time.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer and tablet skills.
  • Ability to learn inventory and warehouse management software.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Plumbing, HVAC, construction, or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
  • Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry approximately 50–75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse and outdoor environments.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment after proper training.

What We're Looking For

The right person for this position takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and accurate. We need someone who understands that a well-run warehouse directly impacts the productivity of our field crews.

This person should be proactive—not just waiting to be told what to do. If materials are running low, something is in the wrong location, a delivery is incorrect, or a truck needs to be restocked, we expect them to recognize the problem, communicate it, and help get it corrected.

Key Expectations

Organization: Everything has a designated location and should be returned to that location.

Inventory Accuracy: Materials going in and out of the warehouse should be properly recorded.

Job Readiness: Pull sheets should be accurate, complete, and staged on time.

Communication: Report shortages, incorrect deliveries, damaged materials, and inventory discrepancies quickly.

Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse, yard, trucks, and trailers clean and professional.

Accountability: Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow tasks through completion.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
