Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

Duties

• Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to ensure accurate stock placement.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing order picking techniques and inventory management software.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and warehouse management systems such as ERP or AS400.
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with shipping logistics by preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and trade compliance standards.
• Support warehouse operations by stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and ensuring a clean, safe workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency in order fulfillment.

Skills

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400.
• Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, logistics, and international trade regulations.
• Experience with order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, order picking, and load & unload activities.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent data entry skills combined with familiarity in Microsoft Office applications for reporting purposes.
• Customer service orientation to assist internal teams or external vendors effectively while maintaining professionalism in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $23.57 - $28.38 per hour
