Warehouse Associate

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing various warehouse duties, including receiving material, stowing and organizing stock, staging material for pick-ups and deliveries, wrapping, loading and inventory management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assemble, wrap and stage orders

• Bend, kneel, stoop, and climb to get material in the warehouse.

• Count, audit and gather material for customers in the warehouse.

• Palletize, strap, and secure material for transport.

• Keep the work area clean and pull inventory to front as product is used up.

• Clean trash from around dock areas periodically to keep lot clean.

• Follow all company and warehouse procedures and safety measures

• Experience working with and following safety standards including use of PPE

• Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly, 50 bounds often and 75 pounds occasionally

• Strong team mentality – willing to do what it takes in support of the company and team

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Strong work ethic; understanding that attendance and timeliness matters
