Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is a highly organized and efficient person, responsible for accurately and efficiently handling inventory, performing general warehouse duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility. This role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong teamwork skills. Take ownership of the customer experience with Hayden Machinery, ensuring satisfaction at every interaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

○ Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory items.

○ Maintain accurate records of stock movements, damaged goods, and discrepancies. Provide audited packing slips to the Warehouse Administrator to complete the receiving process.

○ Assist with cycle counts and full inventory counts as requested.

2. Order Fulfillment:

○ Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they are complete, properly packed, and labeled correctly.

○ Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange for timely and efficient delivery of orders.

○ Provide shop and OTC return paperwork to the Warehouse Administrator; restock or ship items once provided with the necessary paperwork.

3. Warehouse Organization:

○ Organize and maintain warehouse space for efficient storage and accessibility.

○ Ensure cleanliness and safety of the warehouse by following standard procedures and regulations.

○ Dispose of waste materials and hazardous items in accordance with company policies and regulations.

4. Equipment Operation:

○ Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.

○ Conduct equipment inspections on equipment and report any issues to your supervisor.

5. Quality Control: ○ Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and accuracy.

○ Report any damaged or faulty items to the supervisor and assist in the return process.

○ Ensure freight and merchandise is invoiced prior to it leaving Hayden Machinery’s possession.

6. Team Collaboration:

○ Take ownership of the customer experience with Hayden Machinery, ensuring satisfaction at every interaction.

○ Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

○ Assist colleagues in their tasks when required, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
