Warehouse Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a strong understanding of inventory control processes.

Duties

• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts through effective inventory control practices.
• Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes, to facilitate the movement of goods.
• Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required for loading and unloading shipments.
• Execute order picking and packing processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize warehouse management systems
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all incoming and outgoing products are properly documented.
• Assist in packaging products for shipment while adhering to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote an efficient workflow.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, and order pickers.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely.
• Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Experience with stocking, order fulfillment, picking & packing processes is essential.
• Understanding of warehouse distribution methods and best practices.
