Warehouse Associate

Manufacturing company in Van Nuys, CA is seeking a successful warehouse worker with proven experience in warehouse jobs and operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience in warehousing, scheduling, materials management, inventory control, stocking procedures, supply chain management, and logistics
• Strong computer skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership communication skills
• Ability to perform and retain various skill related tasks, training and operations.
• MUST know how to drive/operate a forklift and have a valid driver license.

FORKLIFT CERTIFICATION IS A PLUS.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Logistics & Freight Operations

• Freight Scheduling & Dispatch: Coordinate and schedule outbound freight pickups with carriers to ensure timely transit and adherence to delivery timelines.
• Equipment & Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load and unload freight trucks and transfers efficiently.
• Order Fulfillment & Secure Packaging: Wrap, strap, and palletize delicate freight—including vanities and fragile fixtures—to prevent damage during long-haul shipment.

Customer Service & Pickup Management

• Customer Pickup Assistance: Greet and assist customers with local order pickups, verifying receipts and safely loading merchandise into personal or commercial vehicles.
• Service & Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer loading queries, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor to ensure a positive pickup experience.

Inventory Control & Purchasing

• Inventory Maintenance: Track, audit, and log incoming/outgoing stock to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy across warehouse management systems.
• Supply & Fixture Purchasing: Monitor warehouse operational supplies and fixtures, proactively placing reorders as needed.
• Follow all company safety and standard operating procedures of the company. Can work Individually or as a Team.

Work hours:
Mon-Fri: 8 AM -- 5 PM
Saturday -- Off
Sunday - Off
