We celebrate creativity and innovation, ensuring that every project not only meets but exceeds expectations.

Elements Core Values:

About the role:

As a Warehouse Associate in our Slate studio**,** you will play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by receiving and inspecting deliveries, organizing inventory, and staging materials for our installation teams. This is a hands-on, physically active role in a fast-paced warehouse environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential. You’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills, support multiple teams, and make a visible impact every day. If you are organized, adaptable, and ready to be the backbone of our studio, we would love to meet you!

What you’ll do:

  • Receive, verify, and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices, reporting any damaged or missing items promptly.
  • Organize, label, store, handle, and transport materials safely, including fragile or hazardous items, in designated warehouse locations following warehouse procedures.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling materials accurately according to project and customer requirements.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse by managing inventory layout, keeping aisleways clear, and supporting efficient studio operations.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse and installation teams to manage priorities, adapt to changing schedules, and keep materials moving efficiently.
  • Deliver materials to job sites as needed using company vehicles, including 24-foot box trucks and cargo vans.
  • Stay informed by reviewing the warehouse calendar and regularly checking email and Microsoft Teams for schedules, priorities, and updates.
  • Follow all safety policies and regulations while in the warehouse, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety vests and work boots at all times.

Requirements:

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with furniture installation experience highly preferred.
  • Highly organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer-service mindset to support internal teams.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, staging materials, unloading deliveries, and occasional site work.
  • Reach forklift experience (preferred) and willingness to obtain certification through company training.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.), plus a willingness to learn new software systems that support inventory management and order processing (e.g., SnapTracker and Hedberg). Experience with QR scanners is a plus.
  • Dependable and punctual, with consistent attendance and commitment to scheduled hours.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and a positive attitude, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets our insurance carrier's requirements for occasional use of company vehicles.

Work Environment:

This full-time role is based on-site at our warehouse in Aurora, CO, and requires in-person presence Monday through Friday. Standard operating hours are generally from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, and overtime opportunities may be offered based on operational needs. Occasional travel to the downtown Denver office is required for company meetings and events.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves regular physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds. You’ll spend much of your day standing, walking, and driving a forklift as part of warehouse operations, and you’ll need the flexibility to bend, stoop, crouch, or kneel to handle items stored on lower shelves or in tight spaces. Good hand-eye coordination is important to safely and efficiently perform these tasks.

Compensation:

$21.00 - $27.00 per hour

Our Benefits:

  • Health, Dental, Vision Insurance
  • Flexible Paid Time Off
  • Retirement Plans
  • Profit Sharing
  • Downtown Parking
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Paid Family Medical Leave
  • Career Development and Advancement: We offer ongoing training, mentoring, and clear, defined paths for promotion to support your long-term career growth with us.
