Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and load shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and RF scanners to ensure safe handling of goods.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using inventory management software and warehouse management systems to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain precise inventory records through data entry and stock counting, supporting inventory management and stock replenishment efforts.
• Operate warehouse equipment including order pickers, pallet jacks, and forklifts to facilitate efficient movement of products within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with shipping logistics standards, trade regulations, and safety protocols during shipping & receiving processes.
• Assist with packaging products securely for shipment while adhering to quality standards and trade compliance requirements.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock areas, stocking shelves, and preparing shipments for dispatch.
• Collaborate with team members on order fulfillment tasks, including order picking, packing, and loading for outbound deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following safety guidelines and conducting routine inspections of equipment and storage areas.

Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRPs is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry and reporting purposes.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order processing.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions.
• Knowledge of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and stocking procedures is a plus.

Pay: $18.70 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
