Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse & Delivery Associate to join our team. This is a full-time, hands-on position with a primary focus on warehouse organization, inventory, and customer deliveries, along with general support for our office and sales operations.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in keeping things clean and organized, is comfortable with physical work, can work independently, and enjoys interacting with customers. Our deliveries primarily consist of 40-lb bags of water softener salt to our existing customers. Depending on the delivery, you may also transport water treatment equipment or supplies to customers or to our technicians.

Delivery schedules will vary based on customer needs, but deliveries are a regular part of the job every week.

We are willing to train the right person. Previous warehouse, delivery, customer service, or similar experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse & Inventory

• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, safe, and easy to navigate.
• Receive incoming shipments, unload deliveries, and properly organize and put away inventory.
• Maintain organized storage of water treatment equipment, supplies, salt, and other products.
• Pull and prepare products and equipment for customer deliveries and technician needs.
• Load and secure products, equipment, and salt for delivery.
• Assist with regular inventory counts and keeping track of warehouse supplies.
• Operate a forklift when needed. Forklift experience is preferred, but training may be provided.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work area both inside and around the warehouse.

Customer Deliveries

• Deliver 40-lb bags of water softener salt to existing customers on a regular basis.
• Load, transport, and unload salt using a hand truck/dolly and proper lifting techniques.
• Deliver water treatment equipment, parts, and supplies to customers or technicians when needed.
• Drive company vehicles such as a pickup truck (such as an F-150) or cargo van (such as an NV1500), depending on the size and type of delivery.
• Contact customers regarding deliveries when necessary and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Complete delivery paperwork and invoices accurately.
• Collect customer payments when required.
• Represent the company professionally while making deliveries.

Office & Customer Support

• Assist customers who visit the office.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with basic questions.
• Prepare paperwork, invoices, and other documents as needed.
• Process customer payments.
• Assist the sales team with customer orders, paperwork, and other day-to-day tasks.
• Help with general business operations when needed.

General Operations

• Support our technicians and sales team by making sure they have the products, equipment, and supplies they need.
• Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles.
• Perform other general warehouse, delivery, and operational duties as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and use proper lifting and material-handling techniques.
• Maintain a professional, helpful attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to safely drive a pickup truck and cargo van.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 40-lb bags of salt and other products/equipment.
• Ability to load and unload vehicles and move heavy items using a dolly/hand truck.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and outdoors, including during hot weather.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable interacting directly with customers.
• Basic ability to complete invoices, paperwork, and other written documentation.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software and systems.
• Willingness to help wherever needed and work as part of a team.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required; training may be available.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, customer service, or similar experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active position. The employee must be able to:

• Repeatedly lift and carry 40-lb bags of salt.
• Load and unload products, equipment, and supplies from company vehicles.
• Push and pull loaded hand trucks/dollies.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Work in both indoor warehouse conditions and outdoors, including hot weather.
• Safely handle and transport water treatment equipment, salt, and other supplies.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Maximum of 40 hours per week

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, organized, and willing to pitch in wherever needed. This isn't a position where you'll be doing the exact same task every day. Some days may be focused heavily on deliveries, while other days may involve organizing the warehouse, receiving inventory, helping customers in the office, assisting the sales team, or supporting our technicians.
