Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems and inventory software to track stock levels, perform stock counts, and update records accurately.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
• Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct shipping logistics activities including preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and trade compliance standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, packaging products securely, and managing storage areas effectively.
• Support data entry tasks related to order processing, shipment tracking, and inventory updates within ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and communicating effectively with team members across warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, measurements, and order processing.
• Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire; experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing processes, and logistics operations.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and support customer service efforts.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform manual tasks required in warehouse operations.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
