Warehouse Associate

Purpose of role (Job Summary)

This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing warehouse materials while maintaining a safe and accurate inventory flow.

Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

Education and/or years’ experience required:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Minimum of 6-12 months warehouse or related experience

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

· Basic math skills to count product

· The ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

· The ability to read product labels, warehouse forms, etc.

· Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Supervision & Decision-Making: Not applicable; this role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Accurately pick merchandise from distribution bays and safely transport items to the designated shipping bays.

· Manually unload floor-loaded trailers efficiently and safely as required.

· Receive incoming inventory intended for customer shipment and verify all associated purchase order (PO) numbers.

· Record exact quantities of materials and items received or distributed, updating tracking records accurately.

· Safely convey stock from the receiving dock to the shipping zone and use tools or markers to label materials with identifying information.

· Promptly inspect inventory for damage, loss, or missing items, and immediately escalate issues to the supervisor.

· Handle all merchandise with a high level of care to prevent product damage.

· Support the training and onboarding of new warehouse team members.

· Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

· Lifting & Handling: Regularly lift and move up to 50 to 80 pounds; load, unload, and manage freight as needed.

· Mobility & Posture: Frequently stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

· Dexterity: Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects and equipment.

· Communication & Senses: Regularly talk and hear in a dynamic work environment.

· Vision: Maintain adequate close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception vision, with the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
