Warehouse Associate

Itoh Denki USA, Inc., a leading manufacturer of electrical motors for the material handling industry, is seeking a dependable, responsible individual for a full-time position in our Warehouse for Warehouse Associate in Receiving.

Receiving:

• In charge of receiving, stocking, parts distribution and inventory.
• Check for damaged goods, and prepare and keep records of goods received.
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing parts or materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.

Shipping:

• Assemble boxes for items needing to be shipped
• Package items for shipping
• Verify that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents; insure that shipments are properly packaged, identify against shipping documentation.

Requirements:

• Resourcefulness, initiative and skill to function in a fast-paced environment
• Possess Knowledge of Receiving
• Attention to detail in goal/task accomplishment with minimal supervision
• Professionalism and the ability to interact effectively with others
• Ability to meet planned and unscheduled deadlines in a timely manner
• Cross-training in areas of Production
• Regular/Reliable Attendance

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certification and licensing to operate factory machinery.
• Previous experience in factory or warehouse setting is required.

Work Environment

• Standard 40-hour workweek applies.
• Working hours will be spent in the factory or warehouse.
• Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking and lifting is required on a daily basis.
• Safety gear, such as goggles, gloves, and safety shoes should be worn on a regular basis.
