Warehouse Associate

Northern Sales Company, a trusted name in distribution for over 60 years, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our Anchorage, AK team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, staged, and prepared for next-day delivery in both dry and cold storage environments. Responsibilities

• Sort and stage customer orders for next-day delivery in dry and cold warehouse environments (temperatures as low as 10°F).
• Operate an order picker forklift to pull customer orders safely and efficiently.
• Replenish warehouse stock as needed to maintain inventory levels.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged merchandise to the Operations Manager.
• Adapt to changing priorities to meet daily deadlines and complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and working in warehouse distribution preferred; willingness to learn is welcome.
• Familiarity with warehouse flow and distribution processes preferred.
• Ability to work in cold environments (as low as 10°F).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to demonstrate sound judgment and consistent performance.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
