Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for driving and making deliveries, ensuring that our products reach their intended destinations in a timely and efficient manner as well as assisting the onsite warehouse team. Your keen attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to our overall success in meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

· Drive company vehicles to transport goods from the warehouse to various delivery locations.

· Safely load and unload products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are securely fastened to prevent damage.

· Help to plan delivery routes efficiently, considering factors such as traffic conditions, delivery schedules, and customer locations.

· Follow delivery instructions and maintain accurate records of delivered items, ensuring proper documentation for proof of delivery.

· Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, maintaining a high level of caution while operating the delivery vehicle.

· Provide excellent customer service by delivering products in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any customer concerns or inquiries.

· Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate inventory counts and efficient order fulfillment.

· Assist with general warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory, as needed.

· Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and workplace conduct.

Requirements:

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Previous experience in driving and making deliveries is preferred.

· Ability to safely operate various delivery vehicles, including vans, trucks, or forklifts.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and prioritize delivery routes effectively.

· Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of goods.

· Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, such as loading and unloading heavy items.

· Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.

· Effective communication and customer service skills.

· Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime to meet delivery demands.
