Job Summary

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to help with the daily handling, storage, and preparation of products in our warehouse. This position involves a variety of practical tasks, from organizing incoming goods to preparing orders and keeping supplies in their proper places.

No previous warehouse experience is required. We provide on-the-job training and clear instructions so you can learn the work at a comfortable pace. If you are entering the workforce for the first time, returning after a break, or looking for a different type of job, you are welcome to apply.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will help make sure products are received, stored, and moved to the right locations. You may also assist with checking deliveries, preparing items for shipment, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean work area. Your supervisor will explain your assignments and show you the correct way to complete each task.

Every warehouse has daily priorities, so your responsibilities may change throughout the shift. You will have opportunities to learn different duties as you become familiar with the workplace. A willingness to follow instructions, communicate with your team, and take care with your work will help you get started.

Responsibilities

  • Help unload incoming deliveries and move products to the designated receiving area.
  • Check delivered items against basic order information and report any noticeable differences.
  • Place products in assigned storage locations so they can be found when needed.

  • Assist with preparing customer orders for packing and shipment.
  • Pack products securely and attach labels as directed.
  • Move completed packages to the correct collection or dispatch area.
  • Keep products arranged neatly and return misplaced items to their proper locations.
  • Help count items and update basic stock records when instructed.
  • Inspect products and packages for visible damage and notify a supervisor about any concerns.
  • Refill workstations with packaging materials and other everyday supplies.
  • Keep warehouse floors, shelves, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Remove empty cartons and dispose of packaging waste in the appropriate areas.
  • Follow instructions when moving packages or using approved warehouse equipment.
  • Work with coworkers to complete daily assignments and keep items moving through the warehouse.
  • Inform a supervisor when supplies are running low or a task cannot be completed as expected.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and use required protective equipment.
  • Learn additional warehouse duties as training progresses.

Skills

  • Dependability: Arrive as scheduled and communicate promptly about any attendance concerns.
  • Willingness to learn: Be open to instructions, demonstrations, and feedback.
  • Communication: Listen carefully and ask questions whenever a task is unclear.
  • Organization: Keep products, supplies, and workstations in their assigned places.

  • Time management: Complete assigned duties within the expected schedule while following safety procedures.
  • Flexibility: Be willing to learn different tasks based on daily warehouse needs.
  • Problem awareness: Report damaged products, missing items, and other issues when noticed.
  • Responsibility: Handle goods carefully and follow through on assigned duties.
