Warehouse Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all processes related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving are executed smoothly. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers for materials handling.
• Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and order fulfillment.
• Perform picking and packing duties with attention to detail to meet shipping deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
• Familiarity with inventory management practices and systems, including AS400 or similar software.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or cranes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic maintenance practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for effective stocking and order picking.
• Understanding of packaging requirements for various products to ensure safe transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.50 - $22.50 per hour
