Warehouse Associate

Extreme Trailers is seeking a full time Warehouse Associate. Extreme is a growing manufacturer in Dover, OH building aluminum flatbed, step deck, and end-dump trailers. We are leading the way in innovation for the transportation industry with our lightweight, low maintenance products.

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate position will be responsible for the day-to-day picking and delivery of material to the production, as well as processing material received and put aways. General warehouse work such as cleaning, communicating pick ticket issues and material shortages will also be required. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position will be integral in supporting a clean and efficient warehouse to best be able to support our growing production goals.

Candidates must be self-motivated, willing to learn, dependable and looking to grow in their role and take on more responsibility as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

· Check, Verify, and Pick Parts for Production

· Communicate inventory issues

· Inspect products for defects and damages

· Assist in receiving, unloading, and putting away incoming inventory appropriately

· Abide by all company safety regulations

· Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures

· Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

· Maintaining clear records and documentation

· Perform additional tasks assigned as necessary

Requirements (Skills, Knowledge, Abilities)

· Maintain regular attendance.

· Proven Experience in warehousing standards and practices

· Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment (preferred)

· Excellent time management and organizational skills.

· Ability to work as a team within stressful/busy situations

· Ability to lift or move heavy products

· Experience with inventory software (Preferred)

· Must be able to thrive in a start-up environment with constant change.

· Must have a strong sense of ownership, willingness to learn new things, and be able to drive issues to closure.

· Must be a self-starter who is hands-on with projects and assignments.

Physical Demands:

· Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull weight up to 50 pounds.

· Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.

· Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.

Education and Experience:

· Three years warehouse or related experience

· High school diploma, G.E.D. Certificate, or Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor

Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Thurs // Fri: 7am-12pm (Overtime if needed)

Pay: From $20.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
