St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store — Marquette

Help turn community donations into support for neighbors in need. St. Vincent de Paul is seeking a dependable, hands-on team member to support our thrift store and food pantry. This position helps keep donations moving, facilities safe and organized, and pickups and deliveries running smoothly.

What you’ll do

• Receive, unload, sort, and organize donated goods.
• Move furniture and merchandise; assist with loading and customer pickups.
• Drive the company truck for pantry pickups, store deliveries, and donation pickups.
• Load, unload, and organize food donations, communicating pickup information and concerns to the Pantry Coordinator.
• Keep warehouse, loading, and storage areas clean and safe.
• Perform basic maintenance, minor repairs, and routine equipment checks.
• Help with trash and recycling, and keep the company truck clean while reporting service needs.
• Work respectfully with donors, customers, volunteers, and staff.

What we’re looking for

• A valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate the company truck.
• Clean Driving record
• Ability to safely and repeatedly lift and move items up to 50 pounds, using proper techniques and team assistance when needed.
• Basic skills for minor repairs and facility upkeep.
• Dependability, clear communication, and ability to work independently and with a team.
• A commitment to treating every person with dignity and respect.

Warehouse, maintenance, retail, pantry, or donation-processing experience is helpful but not required. The work involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting in areas with varying temperatures.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
