Warehouse Associate

Basic Function:

• Afternoon/Night Shift-must be available for this shift Sunday-Thursday afternoons/nights. Must be available every Sunday for afternoon/night shift.
• Responsible for the picking and checking of orders, daily restocking of product and related distribution center tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Frequent- Climb, kneel, crouch, stoop, bend, twist, push, pull, and reach.
• Lift and carry boxes/product up to 50 pounds.
• Operate equipment including hi-lo, electric riding pallet jack and electric walking pallet jack.
• Stand for several hours in a row/frequent standing throughout the shift.
• Maintain Warehouse in clean and organized manner throughout shift. Daily end of shift clean up.
• Assure product line is separated according to size and label.
• Review, pick (select) and fill customer (check) orders daily in an accurate and timely manner.
• Receive inbound product accurately and according to company procedures for intake and storage.
• Timely and accurately report inventory levels to Shift Supervisor.
• Demonstrate safety first when performing all duties and responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

• The performance of the duties requires the employee to regularly employ significant physical exertion to perform the essential functions of the job.
• While performing the duties of the job, employee is regularly required to drive, stand, walk and use hands to handle, finger or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Employee is regularly required to lift, carry, push and pull items in the performance of deliveries.
• Employee is regularly required to kneel, crouch, stoop, bend, twist, push, pull, and reach in the performance of the duties of job.
• Employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Employee must have knowledge of operating and maintaining various types of equipment.
• Employee must have the ability to follow instructions and safety policies. Must have a strong attention to detail in order to accurately select and check all orders.
• Employee must have good reasoning, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate hi-lo and pallet jack in a safe and responsible manner according to training protocol.

Education/Training:

• Degree: High School or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
