Job Overview

Looking for immediate hire!
We are an expanding family run small franchise looking for some permanent help to grow with us! Every week we have an online auction selling every kind of item you can imagine and we need help getting it finished as we grow!

We are located on Hwy 6 just south of Fergus, there is no bus route to us. Looking for someone to start immediately.

Days worked are

Thurs 9-3

Fri 9-4

Sat 9-4

Sun 9-4

And 1 of Thursday or Monday 9-3

There is a friendly dog on site.

Responsibilities

• Break down skids of auction items, some heavy lifting and twisting will be required.
• Fast paced online searching and item research to properly show the item online.
• Data entry of a wide variety of items into our auction software
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Organization of a large number of items into our shelving systems.
• Assisting customers with their purchases up to our counter and into vehicles.
• Meet auction deadlines daily/weekly

Experience and Expectations

• Must be fluent in English, clear reading, writing and speaking.
• Basic computer and data entry skills, typing speed
• Strong physical stamina with the capability of performing heavy lifting tasks as required including twisting and bending.
• A commitment to maintaining safety standards in all warehouse operations.
• Experience with data entry, organization and warehouse tasks preferred.

Hourly rate to be re-evaluated after 3 month probationary period.
