Warehouse Associate-Fish Processing

About the Role

IGNIZA is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support cold storage and fish processing operations. This role is ideal for someone who has flexible hours and is ready to show up, work hard, and take ownership. You’ll be a critical person on site, supporting receiving, labeling, forklift operations, and day-to-day execution at our fish processing facility.

This is a hands-on role with a clear opportunity to grow into a Warehouse Lead position based on performance, reliability, and leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, inspect, and handle inbound materials, including fresh fish
• Accurately label, organize, and stage materials accurately for production and storage
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks (training available)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe warehouse environment
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards
• Support inventory tracking, scanning, and basic recordkeeping
• Flag issues quickly—damaged goods, missing labels, safety concerns
• Assist with general site tasks and execution as needed
• Forklift training may be provided to demonstrated candidates
• Take initiative to identify what needs to get done and help keep operations moving

Who We’re Looking For

• 0–2 years of warehouse, production, or hands-on work experience
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Comfortable working with raw fish in cold, refrigerated, and potentially wet environments
• Able to perform physical work, including lifting up to 40–50 lbs and standing or walking for extended periods
• Willingness to learn equipment, processes, and food safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Motivated to learn, take on responsibility, and grow with the company

Preferred (Not Required)

• Forklift or material-handling experience
• Experience in food, manufacturing, or cold-storage environments
• Familiarity with scanners or inventory systems

Pay & Schedule

• $20-22/hr
• Full-time; Overtime eligible

• Leading daily warehouse execution
• Training new associates
