Warehouse Associate I

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our fast-paced warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, loading and unloading shipments, picking and preparing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory.

The ideal candidate is reliable, works well in a team environment, and is comfortable performing physical warehouse duties, including lifting and being on their feet throughout the workday.

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating heavy equipment such as cherry pickers, clamp trucks, material handling equipment, and cranes.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners for order picking and stock control.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while following OSHA safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for measurements, weight calculations, and inventory counts.
• Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Strong attention to safety protocols with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate various types of heavy equipment including forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and crane systems to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
• Perform order picking and packing tasks accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials through manual handling techniques and heavy lifting practices.
• Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts, updating inventory management systems, and ensuring proper storage of goods.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipment contents, inspecting for damages, and documenting all transactions in compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow processes and improve overall warehouse operations.
