About The Role Our Sparrows Point facility is looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and staging flooring materials accurately so our customers' orders move out on time. You will regularly operate a reach truck, forklift, and other material handling equipment in a fast-paced distribution environment.

This role is best suited for someone who already has hands-on warehouse experience and is confident operating a reach truck safely and efficiently.

Minimum Requirements (Please Review Before Applying)

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
• At least 1 year of reach truck operating experience
• Forklift certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
• Ability to read and interpret packing lists, shipping documents, and inventory records
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and handle heavy or bulky flooring materials
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Applicants who do not meet these minimum requirements will not be considered for this position.

Requirements What You'll Do

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of flooring materials for accuracy and condition
• Operate reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Stock, organize, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Pick and stage orders accurately for delivery or customer pickup
• Load outbound shipments safely and according to delivery requirements
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
• Communicate with teammates, drivers, and operations staff to coordinate order flow and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse at all times
• Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and applicable regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Current forklift certification
• Experience in flooring, building materials, or a similar distribution environment
• Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems
• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds regularly, with heavier items handled using assistance or equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the full workday
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment throughout the shift

Schedule and Overtime

This is a full-time, on-site position at our Sparrows Point facility. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Overtime may be required to support inbound or outbound volume. No regular weekend schedule is expected.
