Exciting opportunity – located in Elk Grove Village, IL; come to work as a Warehouse Specialist

Position Description:

• Responsible for shipping, handling, sorting, counting, and packaging of materials.
• Operates industrial powered lift equipment.
• Conducts or assists with physical inventory counts.
• Maintains work area and follows procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Remove inbound freight from carrier
• Check for shipping damage Use bar code scanners to check inbound shipments and customer orders for customer shipment
• Complete required paperwork and forward to Inventory Control
• Assist other staff in resolving discrepancies discovered in receiving
• Prepare material for shipment consistent with customers, trucker’s or driver’s requirements and balance and mark pallets
• Wrap orders on pallet for the purposes of shipment Restock warehouse according to Inventory Manager’s guidelines and practices

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience preferred and experience operating a hi-lo, however we are willing to train the right person
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Stand up Reach Forklift experience a plus
• Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery
