Purpose
We are seeking a skilled Sorter to join our high-performing Machining Department. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and eager to support production in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll be responsible for organizing and verifying cut cabinet components—checking barcodes, quality, and materials—to ensure high-quality cabinetry components that exceed expectations.
Who You Are
You’re a motivated Sorter with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality, looking to join a high-performing team where your skills are valued and your career can grow. You take pride in organizing and verifying cabinet components to ensure accuracy, quality, and readiness for the next stage of production. You enjoy hands-on work, thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment, and work well with others to keep production running smoothly. You’re not just looking for another job—you want to be part of a company where craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement are part of the culture.
What You’ll Do
- Work alongside a CNC Machinist to organize and stage cut cabinet components into carts.
- Verify barcodes and quality of each piece before moving carts to the next production stage.
- Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Clean and maintain your work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members across your department to support production flow and improve overall quality and efficiency.
- Share ideas for improving processes and outcomes—we value technicians who think critically and take ownership.
What You Bring
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred but not required. What matters most is your attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and strong work ethic. We’re committed to providing comprehensive training to the right candidate.
- Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone and up to 50 pounds with help from a team member.
- Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, and small barcodes.
- A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
