Warehouse Attendant

We are seeking a detailed-oriented Warehouse Attendant with computer experience and a strong background in receiving to join our team! This role is essential in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly.

Position Summary: Prepare/package materials for shipment to outside processing or customers. Assist in other areas in logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Fill orders or requisitions for materials by locating, retrieving, unpackaging and kitting or delivering materials to plant locations.
• Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records
• Check for shortages and reject damaged goods
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks and movement of materials to storage locations
• Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in the area
• Receive materials, equipment, merchandise and similar items in a storeroom or warehouse.
• Store items in high/low bay racks, in bins or on the floor. Includes marking or tagging items for identification.
• Complete Oracle / Maximo inventory and other ERP transactions.
• Safely operate a fork lift truck, overhead crane or other material handling equipment
• Prepare records of goods shipped by making bills of lading, posting weight and shipping charges and maintaining shipping records
• Wear all required PPE at all times
• Other duties as required

Education and Experience:

• High School or Equivalency Diploma
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Proficient computer skills, Oracle experience a plus

Physical Demands:

• Heavy lifting up to 20 lbs
• Standing up to 75% of time
