WAREHOUSE CHECKER

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Checker to join the Macvee Agri Farms team on a full-time basis. Based in San Pablo City, Laguna, this role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance and control within our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Checker, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality requirements before they leave our facility, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and protecting the reputation of Macvee Agri Farms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of chickens or goods upon receipt, during storage, and prior to shipment to identify any defects, damage or quality issues

• Verify product specifications, quantities, and batch numbers against documentation and order requirements

• Document all inspection findings, discrepancies and corrective actions in warehouse management systems and quality control records

• Segregate and appropriately label any substandard or rejected products, ensuring they are handled according to company protocols

• Maintain accurate records of quality metrics, inspection results and batch traceability information

• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve quality issues and prevent future occurrences

• Conduct regular inventory audits and stock rotation checks to maintain warehouse organisation and product freshness

• Adhere to all health, safety and food hygiene regulations applicable to chicken

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree of any courses

• Proven experience working in a warehouse, quality control or inspection role, preferably within the food production sector

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies accurately and consistently

• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, quality standards and documentation

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy

• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, lift and carry items regularly, and work in varying warehouse conditions

• Clear communication abilities and a collaborative approach to working within a team environment

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards is highly desirable
