Duties

• Operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and RF scanners to handle materials safely and efficiently.
• Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, data entry into inventory management software, and regular cycle counts.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping using order picker tools and manual handling techniques, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Load and unload shipments with heavy equipment operation while adhering to safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
• Conduct shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming goods against purchase orders using AS400 or other warehouse management systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking materials properly and following safety protocol adherence.
• Assist with inventory management tasks including stock replenishment, packaging, labeling, and documentation to support order fulfillment processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400.
• Valid certifications for forklift operation, reach truck driving, crane operation, and material handling equipment are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards and PPE use to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining proper techniques for safety and efficiency.
• Basic math skills for inventory counting, order picking accuracy, and data entry tasks.
• Experience with inventory management software and RF scanners for real-time stock updates.
• Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership responsibilities within the team.

Pay: $23.43 - $28.22 per hour
