Warehouse Coordinator & Delivery Driver

About the role

The successful applicant will be responsible for warehouse coordination (3 days per week) and furniture deliveries (2 days per week, Mondays & Thursdays). The delivery days will generally align with our main delivery driver servicing the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast areas, providing additional support during our busiest delivery periods.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming furniture stock
• Organising and maintaining warehouse inventory
• Preparing furniture orders for delivery
• Occasional container unloading/loading
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
• Assisting with stock movements and customer orders
• Delivering new furniture products to residential and commercial customers
• Safely loading, transporting and unloading furniture items
• Providing professional customer service during deliveries
• Completing deliveries across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast regions
• No weekend work but this job may require early starts or late finishes occasionally

About you

• Experienced in warehousing, furniture handling and/or delivery driving
• Physically fit and capable of safely lifting heavy furniture items
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Strong work ethic and takes pride in completing jobs properly
• Safety-focused with good manual handling practices
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional when dealing with customers and suppliers
• Current open Australian driver's licence
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
