We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee a busy warehouse operation in Horsley Park. In this role, you will support the day-to-day management of a site with approximately 40 permanent and temporary employees, handling inventory across more than 6,000 pallet locations in a combination of racking and floor storage.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring daily labour plans are accurately scheduled, resources are effectively allocated, and operational activities are executed safely and efficiently. You will work across multiple functions within the operation to drive productivity, service performance, and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team to maintain a strong safety culture and identify opportunities to eliminate risk
• Communicate daily operational objectives and allocate work activities across the team
• Develop and manage daily labour plans to ensure efficient utilisation of resources
• Coordinate warehouse activities across inbound, outbound and inventory functions
• Lead and support a team of approximately 40 employees, including both permanent and agency team members
• Monitor operational performance against customer and service level requirements
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service delivery
• Ensure all team members are appropriately inducted, onboarded and trained to DHL standards
• Conduct regular performance conversations, coaching and employee engagement activities
• Maintain inventory accuracy across a warehouse with more than 6,000 pallet positions
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to achieve customer and business objectives

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics or supply chain leadership role
• Experience leading medium-sized operational teams in a fast-paced environment
• Warehouse Management System experience, Manhattan preferred
• Strong workforce planning and labour management capability
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and people management skills
• Experience working with customers and key operational stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement
