Warehouse Coordinator

Job Summary

W.E. Lott Company, a fast-growing importer and distributor of forgings and castings, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Coordinator for our Bucyrus office. This position is crucial in supporting all incoming and outgoing shipments from the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have knowledge of the warehouse shipping and can perform multiple tasks effectively.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Create packing lists for all shipments

Receiving, inspecting, and processing warehouse stock products

Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment

Reporting any discrepancies or issues to warehouse supervisor

Picking orders and placing them in loading dock area

Scheduling of trucks – using various portals. FTL & LTL

Preparing Bill of Ladings and gathering material certs or other information for shipments

Verifying quantities on in and outbound materials

Re-boxing of products as necessary

Reconcile outgoing stock and organize warehouse staging areas

Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager

Skills and Experience:

Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, shipping and receiving, or related supply chain preferred

Basic computer skills: Word/Excel

Experience with Sage or QuickBooks preferred

High attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication, time management and problem-solving abilities

Ability to learn and use proprietary software

Proficient reading/writing/simple math

Loading/unloading trucks

Able to lift 50 lbs.

High school diploma or equivalent

Work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Works independently and as a team

Able to pass a drug screen

Valid Driver’s License
